Work with networking, power cables, other small and large components, both mechanical and electronic.
Analyze and sort cables to build cable harnesses.
Use online methods and work instructions to label cables to precise customer and HPE standards. Plus scan all components into the manufacturing shop floor system to ensure proper parts and inventory tracking.
Assemble individual cables into bundles, based on order requirements and install cables in cabinets and across systems, to precise customer and HPE standards.
Perform final removal, cleanup, and pack out of networking cables.
Audit, package, and prepare systems for shipment. Workload is heavy and fast paced.
Responsible for maintaining a safe & clean work area.
Responsible for maintaining proper dress code as described and maintaining acceptable attendance levels per attendance policy.
Responsible for following all rules and regulations of the facilities as described during new hire orientation.
Will work on assignments that are routine to moderately complex in nature and require basic problem resolution and independent judgment.
Conditions: Working conditions are typical for a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
Must have excellent vision, fine motor skills and excellent attention to detail
Must be flexible, great critical thinking skills and the ability to operate manual and power hand tools.
Must be familiar with using different computer applications and be able to learn how to use new applications.
The ability to work standing up and/or bending or stooping repetitively for 8hrs is required. Associates must be able to stand the entire shift.
Experience with pallet jack a plus. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively over an 8hr period while standing and bending.
In general, this is considered a primary position where the worker applies basic knowledge of the job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments/tasks.
Requires good understanding of the general/technical aspects of the job and following all rules and regulations of the facilities
Must maintain successful communication and working relationship with management & peers of all levels, and reciprocate professional, team-oriented performance.
Experience & Education:
Relevant work history preferred but is not required for this position and a high school degree is required for this position.
U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident (green card holder) required.
