A Corporate Strategy & Development Intern is responsible for assisting with various projects within the Corporate Strategy & Development at Stride. Essential functions may vary from administrative, clerical and support level work to more tactical work as determined by business needs. The Intern will assist the Corporate Strategy & Development team with market research, M&A and partnership pipeline management, and financial analysis as well as other duties as assigned.

  • Conducts market intelligence research;

  • Assists with management of deal pipeline database and reporting;

  • Creates and prepares various content, presentations and materials as needed;

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.


Minimum Required Qualifications 



  • Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited university with a concentration in Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent.

  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills

  • Excellent written communication skills

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0

Certificates and Licenses: None required.

  • Collaborative and trustworthy

  • Ability to listen effectively and respect others’ perspectives and contributions

  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of Stride’s business and mission

  • Experience with financial modeling and analysis a plus

  • This is currently being considered as a remote position while the Stride office is closed as a result of COVID-19 precautions. Candidates in the northern Virginia area will have the option to work in the corporate headquarters when it reopens. The noise level in the office is usually moderate (computers, printers, light foot traffic).We are seeking applicants from Washington, D.C, and from any state except Colorado.
