Business Intelligence Analyst IV at Guardian in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Description:

As our Business Intelligence Analyst IV role, you will work with business and IT leaders to identify, prioritize, execute, and communicate the results of high value data analysis projects. You will play a highly visible role in promoting a data & analytics-driven culture within Group Benefits, with a primary focus on Dental and Disability Claims Operations. You will perform data analysis and partner with key business and technology stakeholders to deliver on reporting needs, execute on their data strategies and identify new insights and opportunities.

You are
A highly detailed and organized self-starter, who has a proven ability to lead and manage processes effectively, identify quality improvements in data and develop and implement value-added reporting & analytics, while being able to accomplish day-to-day tactical activities. You manage multiple tasks to deliver according to schedule and priority. Y ou collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders and partner effectively with the business in order to execute on data-driven business strategy.

You will

• Lead Group Benefits Dental and Disability Claims Operations reporting team and process delivery, with a focus on supporting production process improvement and efficiencies.
• Provide oversight on Dental and Disability Claims report delivery, ensuring accountability for meeting quality SLAs.
• Partner on data and analytics initiatives related to Dental and Disability Claims enhancements, understanding business needs and driving towards value added analysis.
• Execute on solution delivery and partner with technical execution team to help drive processes towards utilization of data lake for Dental and Disability Claims processes, as well as adaptation to automation concepts & tools.
• Develop innovative approaches to improving efficiencies in current data and understanding how external data could be applied to enhance current and future processes across the Dental and Disability Claims team and the broader Business Intelligence Delivery area.
• Work with Business Intelligence Delivery and Consultant teams to define and prioritize high value Data and Analytics projects, including automation opportunities.

You have

• Six-plus years of experience in a data management and analytics environment, including experience with business intelligence reporting & tools.
• Bachelor's degree (required). An advanced degree and/or financial/professional designations (FSA, CPA) are a plus.
• Experience within an insurance, financial services, and/or healthcare organization (preferred).
• Experience with data reporting and relational databases, including demonstrated experience in a variety of disciplines.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office products and databases, including Excel and Tableau.
• Experience leading multiple projects and delivering completion on or before deadline.
• Proven ability to link business service objectives with appropriate reporting and monitoring tools.

• Remote | Bethlehem, PA | Holmdel, NJ
• Up to 10% travel within the continental US.
