The Program Manager, Health PMO is responsible for the management of large scale projects or small programs. (Project/Program size depends on factors such as estimated duration, resource requirements, budget, complexity, risk, visibility, and related matters). Responsible for end-to-end management of larger projects or smaller programs within a dedicated business areas. Manages multiple smaller projects that roll-up into a program.

What will you do?


  • Project / Program Management

    • Manages the creation of project/program charters including business case development, program structure and the identification of vertical workstreams

    • Guides the vertical workstream leaders to fully meet the goals of the program

    • Facilitates the development of the financial business case and project/program KPIs

    • Facilitates and manages project/program needs with key stakeholders, peers and cross-functional partners, makes suggestions as to the approach partners should take

    • Able recognize unidentified needs the project/program will have and proactively manages potential partner gaps

    • Maintains project/program documents and tools including portfolio management tools such as wave, status reports, raid logs and communication documents

    • Schedules, maintains and facilitates team rhythms, meeting minutes, collaboration tools such as MS Teams, Sharepoint, etc

    • Escalates and resolves conflicts that could delay a project or program among project's cross-functional partners

    • Conflict resolution is expected with only minimal support from PM leadership

    • High visibility across the organization/Enterprise level; large risk if program/project is not successful - High impact/high visibility

    • Complexity at this level varies between low to high, spans over multiple leaders, several functions, and includes systems and people impact within the project being managed. (i.e. marketing, IT, retail ops, finance, demand planning, developers, etc.)

    • Manages projects/programs with typically 6 to 12 month completion times on average




  • Manage cross-functional partnerships

    • Provides input, guidance and recommendations to cross-functional partners when determining project needs, milestones and appropriate meeting rhythms

    • Identifies and works to resolve resource conflicts with project/program managers, and cross functional partners

    • Works with partner sponsors and a cross-functional team mainly comprised of members up to and including the BBY Health leadership

    • May interact with vendors or 3rd party partners

    • Collaborates with and influences key partners involved in projects and provides constructive feedback; demonstrates the ability to influence without authority and change the direction of a program or project when necessary




  • Communications

    • Maintain all logs for the project including the following: risk, actions, change. Works with cross-functional partners to address items on the logs

    • Provides communications related to project needs with cross-functional partners

    • Provides updates to project teams and key stakeholders on a regular basis

    • Able to articulate project status, provide actionable updates, speak to current risks, provide risk aversion plans and assist with updates reviewed Enterprise-wide



This position is Remote Eligible.

Basic Qualifications:


  • 5 years of project management

  • 5 years of general business experience

  • Proficient facilitation skills

  • Proficient technical skills (e.g., Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business Integration experience

  • Healthcare experience

  • PMP or similar certifications

  • 2+ Years Experience Working with Senior Leaders

  • 3+ Years Experience Managing Large Functional Initiatives

  • Limited experience with change management methodology using impact and stakeholder analyses

  • Familiarity of different RASCI and decision making models with teams

  • Communication plan development and execution
