Reporting to the Repair Supervisor, the Repair Technician is responsible for performing repairs on a wide range of Red Lion products while meeting service commitments and manufacturing standards.
Essential Job Functions
Troubleshoot circuits to the component level to understand root cause of test failures.
Repair boards/assemblies across multiple product families through rework of solder, remove and replace of components, etc.
Coordinate with engineers, manufacturing leadership and customer service representatives providing detailed findings and estimate to complete for individual repairs.
Maintain test fixture service & perform preventative maintenance when necessary.
Utilize various electronics repair equipment while analyzing wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.
Minimum Requirements
Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent relevant work experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the area of electronics troubleshooting and repair.
Demonstrates oral and written communication skill to interface with various levels within the organization.
Expected to cross-train across multiple product lines, demonstrating proficient knowledge in each area.
Effectively collaborate with peers when troubleshooting complex issues when needed.
Willingness to learn and make suggestions for improvements.
