We are actively recruiting a Coal Handler that is interested in joining a hardworking team in Cedar Rapids, IA. In the this position you will primarily be responsible for the safe operation of fuel handling equipment and other related coal yard tasks to support steam production at the Prairie Creek Generating Station.

Job Qualifications Qualifications:
Ability to operate fuel handling equipment.
Ability to operate heavy equipment, mechanicalability
Knowledge of fuel-handling equipment and the layout and operation of the generating
station to which assigned.
Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse work group.
Basic computer skills required.
According to location, may be required to operate fork lifts
Physical Requirement:
Good health and normal functioning senses
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Must have ability to wear all safety equipment including a respirator
Not afraid of heights
