Primary Job Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of semi-skilled and manual work involved in operations, maintenance and repair of wastewater treatment plant and pump stations, laboratory analysis and computer input.
Collect wastewater samples for testing in the lab.
May need to work in adverse weather conditions; working around chemicals; climbing ladders and entering confined spaces. computer work in lab.
Some computer work in the lab.
May be on-call and will work every fifth weekend in additional to some holidays.
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred, but not required: Iowa Wastewater Grade 1 license.
