Job Purpose
The Third-Party Payer Specialist is responsible for developing customer relationships while assisting customers to pay current and outstanding account invoices. You will collaborate with customers to get the NMC group of companies set up in customer third-party portals, become proficient in those portals, enter invoices, and ensure payments are received in a timely manner. You'll continuously monitor for data discrepancies that create billing issues then take the steps necessary to make needed corrections. The Third-Party Payer Specialist will ensure customer accounts are current with minimal aging and support both internal and external customers who need assistance with the billing process.
We're looking for someone who is process-oriented with strong customer service skills and can efficiently manage invoicing and billing processes in a time-sensitive environment.
