Research Assistant is responsible for coordinating, implementing and completing clinical research studies or clinical trials by assisting in document preparation, in-servicing research teams, recruiting patients, obtaining patient consents, educating patients, conducting study procedures, collecting data, keeping records, obtaining laboratory samples, assisting in manuscript / abstract preparation. Research Assistant is intimately involved with the IRB submissions and collecting and entering data. Additional responsibilities will include participating in research meetings, study conference calls, updating staff on research studies/study progress.

Grant funded position subject to expiration with funding cycle.

This is a casual 10 hours a week grant funded position.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor’s degree in health-related science required. 

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical research experience required.
