Working closely with the General Managers and corporate finance team, the Controller will be responsible for directing and managing accounting functions, including establishing practices, and procedures as well as the preparation of financial statements, and providing of reporting to corporate management. The Controller also maintains the company's accounting systems and implements changes as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee employees including: Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Clerks
Work directly with other members of management to ensure all accounting aspects are correct for their department and relative business matters
Create, analyze and finalize the month end financial statement and expense reports
Post and maintain monthly standard entries
Reconcile bank statements
Train office staff as needed
Prepare taxes and pay accordingly
Assist in annual year end audits
Set up and maintain accruals for expenses
Maintain adherence with corporate policy
