Job Description:

MJ Care was founded over 40 years with a commitment to providing high quality, ethical services to improve the lives of children with exceptional educational needs in a school setting. We will rely on you to organize, develop and implement a school-based Certified Occupational Therapist program by providing direct and consultative services to children with exceptional educational needs and to educational staff when children require to Certified Occupational Therapist benefit from special education.

Essential Functions

• Assist with recommendations for universal classroom modifications.


• Conduct appropriate evaluations of children referred, interpret evaluation findings and prepare written reports of the evaluation.


• Participate in and be a collaborative member of the Individual Education Program (IEP) team

Education

• Graduate of a COTA program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education

Licensure/Certification

• Relevant experience preferred


• Current state license and/or certification to provide Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant services in good standing.


• Department of Public Instruction license


• Valid driver’s license in good standing and access to insured car


• Successful completion of a caregiver background check and pre-employment screen
