Job Description:

The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Writing - ability to write technically and thoroughly for RFP responses and then turn that content into creative and engaging communications (PR, social media, advertising, blog, case studies, editorial, etc.) with an in depth understanding of the sales funnel and driving full cycle of content marketing with comprehensive managed calendar.


• Technical Communications - ability to research, vet and use technology: automate processes (RFP response); use of CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation tools, etc.


• Research - ability to research markets to identify new market opportunities and forecast market trends. Understanding patterns in found data sets to develop content to resonate with audience and drive sales improvements.


• Manage company wide knowledge database with information from various companies across the organization and working with SME's to continuously improve content.


• Creativity driving continuous improvement and the ability to flex to other areas of the marketing department to drive branding, sales and retention.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in communications, with a focus on communications strategy and planning. Writing samples must be included with application.


• 5+ years experience in marketing management position, overseeing a team.


• Knowledge of best in class RFP process and response development.


• Experience developing brand positioning and messaging.


• Executive presence with a client-centric approach and a demonstrated ability to take initiative internally and externally.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with writing for executive team a plus (LinkedIn long form content, editorial, etc.)


• Event management that drives sales (industry events, etc.)


• Ability to travel - 10%
