POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Healthcare Reform Market Strategy Manager provides leadership and strategic direction in executing product adoption and sales support in collaboration with account teams to support our Healthcare Reform clients. This client-facing position will take a lead role in sales support for current clients. This involves using extensive Healthcare Reform knowledge to support product development, manage work plans, perform data analysis, as well as work cross functionally with research, sales and account management, client and patient services and other functional areas as needed. This position serves as the primary contact for all Healthcare Reform strategic initiatives and market development. The Sr. Healthcare Reform Market Strategy Manager role plays a critical role in the interpretation of applicable CMS guidance, client retention, and overall client satisfaction within the Healthcare Reform line of business. In addition, the individual will interface with Health plan clients to meet growth, quality &targets for their Healthcare Reform line of business

Responsibilities:


  • Plays a critical role in the interpretation of applicable CMS guidance, client retention, and overall client satisfaction within Healthcare Reform line of business

  • Cultivate Health Care Reform market insights that factor in client goals, member drug utilization, and environmental factors; expose opportunities that assist clients to make sound decisions in the face of evolving regulations and changing market dynamics

  • Interface with health plan clients to meet growth and quality targets for their Health Care Reform lines of business

  • Coordinate with cross functional partners to provide support for sales and account management and Express Scripts clients

  • Assist Account teams in positioning and presenting upsell or renewal related to the applicable Healthcare Reform products

  • Develop selling strategies that help differentiate Express Scripts in the marketplace and align our interest with those of our clients and their members

  • Deliver market message and training to account teams and clients about market opportunities

  • Demonstrate leadership within the team and department to help motivate and develop employees

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor Degree and 8-12 years relevant experience or 14-18 years without

  • Must have proven experience with Relationship Management

  • Extensive experience in client support with the ability to work collaboratively with account team to develop plans to support clients in this line of business

  • Must have Healthcare Reform Expertise (ACA, Exchange, Individual/Small group business)

  • Must have excellent presentation skills and experience presenting to various leaders and clients.

  • Strategic development with ability to formulate a strategic direction based on market knowledge and data

  • Ability to work in a dynamic business environment

  • Ability to work well with all types of management styles

  • Strong strategic thinker and self-starter

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
