The Coordinator assists the Film Management Director and Specialist on various duties associated with managing licensed programming contracts in the Wide Orbit Program (WOP), processing Programming requisitions and invoices, and communicating with vendors, as needed; and duties associated with clearing and prepping Video-on-Demand (VOD) content.
RESPONSIBILITIES
WOP Contracts
Assists Director with:
Maintaining payout schedules and amortization, as instructed.
Creating requisitions and process Programming contract invoices.
Communicating with vendors, as needed.
Linear Networks
Assists Director with:
Adding titles and exploitation windows and rights.
Creating WOP titles and media; assign title codes and media house numbers.
Set-up series; create series prefix and default parameters.
Managing Original series; ensures titles are finalized with synopses, stars and ratings, before premiere airdate.
Create, run and manage Reports and Queries, as needed.
VOD
Assists with the following, as directed by Specialist:
Confirm title rights for digital platforms.
Prep VOD titles for Avails list; add metadata - synopsis, ratings, genres, stars, directors, etc.
Update Brown Sugar Avails list as titles are added or deleted.
Distribute Avails lists to Brown Sugar team as updates are made, and to AVOD teams at the start of each month.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Self-starter; detail oriented; excellent judgment.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization.
Excellent computer, spreadsheet and data base experience.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree and related experience, is preferred.
Experience with Wide Orbit or another broadcast content management system, is preferred.
