Our Fluid Power Specialists (Account Representatives) professionally represent the Company with the knowledge and skills to provide customers' motors, pumps, valves and other fluid power product needs. **The candidate for this position can be located anywhere in Michigan or Northern Indiana. **
Responsibilities
Work with local outside sales people to identify, quote, engineer, and close product and solution sales
Independently pursue OEM accounts to identify, quote, engineer, and close product solution sales
Provide technical support and educate customers, and inside and outside sales staff about fluid power products
Work with Branch sales managers to provide business planning to reach product sales goals
Work with and coordinate vendor resources to build relationships and support outside sales
Ensure customer relationships are positive and deep within all accounts
Ensure customer service requirements are met
May be required to be on-call nights or weekends, depending on need
Generate new business with new or existing customers
Ensure technical requirements for the customer are met
Assist with onsite troubleshooting of customers' concerns
Routinely interact face-to-face with customers to foster strong relationships and maintain satisfaction
Maintain appropriate relationship with key suppliers
Qualifications
Sales and engineering knowledge of fluid power products with a focus on motors, pumps, and valves
History of strong sales performance with emphasis on growth in new opportunities
Good customer service and communication skills
Reliable, organized, detailed, and focused
Moderate computer skills, including communicating internally and externally via e-mail
Ability to multitask and manage time well
Minimum of 2 years of industrial fluid power sales experience
2-year technical Fluid Power Degree preferred
