Position Summary
Guggenheim Partners is seeking an individual to join a fast-growing team as a DealCloud Administrator. This junior professional will support the Management team of the Advisory business with maintenance and review of company and project data, administration of DealCloud platform, creation of materials to present data and internal projects. As skill set progresses, the individual will support Management team on important strategic, financial and operational projects and analyses.
Essential Job Functions
• Serving as the firm's central resource responsible for successful upkeep of DealCloud data and analysis • Interfacing with bankers from the Advisory teams to collect the latest input on deal activity, and working with the Corporate Finance team to reflect this information in the system • Developing and running weekly revenue reports for the CFO, COO and Management team • Maintenance of announced and closed deal procedures including coordination with league table providers such as Dealogic and Bloomberg, internal communications on website postings and Advisory teams on deal attributes • Additional projects may include: competitor analysis, strategic business reviews, preparing materials for the Partner offsite and maintaining the firm credential materials
Preferred Qualifications
• Driven individual with an interest in investment banking • Understanding of financial concepts with a desire to learn • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong ability to multi-task
Basic Qualifications
• Candidates with 1-2 years of non-investment banking financial experience (such as a financial data service provider) or 1 year of investment banking experience. Minimum of 1-2 years post-graduate experience • Undergraduate degree required, preferably with a business and/or finance background or interest • Working knowledge of database and CRM products • Intermediate to advanced level of Excel and PowerPoint experience
