Position Summary

The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting, testing and maintaining business applications and enterprise systems in the following Riverside functional areas: Accounting; Client Relationship Management (CRM); Portfolio Monitoring and Management; Human Resource Management System (HRMS); and Business Intelligence (BI). This individual will work closely with end users, members of Riverside technology team, including management, and other business users to define requirements, recommend solutions, generate technical specifications and create detailed testing documentation and methods. The Business Systems Analyst will participate in the testing and acceptance phases of development projects and assist end users with implementation.
The Business Systems Analyst will assist in providing end user support and conduct training sessions to educate end users and empower them to take ownership of tools and applications. This individual will perform ongoing, business-critical functions that ensure the timely delivery of communications between third parties and internal stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions

• Support business users (50%)
• Work with business users to define and document functional requirements
• Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Support & train application owners and subject matter experts
• Support ongoing operational needs related to essential business applications
• Ensure accurate information is maintained in source systems by performing data quality validation and assessments
• Application development and change management (50%)
• Prepare and update specifications, reference guides, and process documentation
• Perform extensive, thorough and detailed quality assurance to validate changes and new enhancements
• Act as a relationship manager, engaging business users, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction
• Conduct training sessions for business users, empowering end-users to be operationally self-sufficient
• Work with developers and third-party consultants to ensure successful project execution
• Serve as a bridge between technical third parties and internal business users to ensure client satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, speaking to technical and non-technical business users
• Self-starter with the foresight to identify and execute next steps to see projects through to completion
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and business requirements
• Familiar with Private Equity, Finance and Accounting concepts and nomenclature
• Familiar with Application Quality Assurance concepts, practices, and procedures
• Strong ability to dissect complex situations, troubleshoot and propose solutions

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with SQL and/or relational databases
• Clear understanding of system integrations and API concepts
