Equifax is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Washington or Oregon-based Account Executive to join our growing Public Sector team. The Account Executive will partner with Alliance Directors, Solutions Architects, Government Relations Directors, and a client engagement team to help develop and close new sales opportunities.

What you'll do:


  • Develops sales strategies to effectively identify and develop new business opportunities, and maintains existing customer relationships, calling on key decision makers of prospective clients.


  • Functions as liaison between customer, sales, and technology.


  • Responsible for locating and responding to competitive solicitations and RFP's.


  • Participates in a rigorous account planning process, including development of a robust pipeline and accurate revenue forecasts that will yield strong and predictable revenue growth.


  • Builds and maintains prospective customer relationships; makes follow up calls and conducts research to qualify sales. Enters prospect data and other sales data into database.


  • Represents Workforce Solutions at national and regional trade shows and user meetings.


Location:

This is an outside sales role and therefore a remote opportunity, estimated up to 50% travel throughout the assigned territory (combination, or all, of WA, OR, ID, HI, AK). Candidates must be open to travel with access to a home/remote worksite when not on the road.

Qualifications:


  • 2-5 years of Government sales experience, selling to State agencies


  • 3-5 years successful service-based solution selling in a business-to-business environment dealing with senior management


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience


  • Reside in WA, OR, or ID and have the Ability to travel 35-50% of the time, and access to a home or remote office when not on the road
