Job Description:

Forward Air TLS is looking for a Solutions Oriented Account Development Representative (ADR). The ADR will be responsible for managing new and existing accounts as well as rate negotiation with the ability to build long term business relationships. They will use exceptional customer service and problem solving skills to manage all the customers' needs and expectations. This person will be a key member of the team, reporting to departmental leadership. The position is responsible for utilizing internal resources to effectively and efficiently find, develop, and improve Forward Air services to ensure the profitable and successful execution of their respective customer's needs.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Freight brokerage experience strongly preferred
• Customer service experience
• Ability to work with all levels - Operations and/or Sales
• Ability to develop long-term business relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, but not necessary
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Strong team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime as needed

• Ideal candidate will possess a "can do" attitude with a "will do" work ethic
• Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Have strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of operations
• Strong team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment
• General computer skills - Microsoft Office, Outlook, AS400
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
