The E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist will assist in developing a premiere shopping experience through customer product exploration enhancements and improved sales conversion tactics on Arhaus.com. The individual in this role will have a retail merchandising background along with expertise in E-Commerce selling and customer behavior. This position will report directly to the E-Commerce Merchandising Manager.
Responsibilities
· Execute merchandising strategies for new product launches, marketing campaigns, and promotions through Arhaus.com.
· Work with Merchandising to plan and execute site updates to achieve E-Commerce sales goals.
· Collaborate with photo and copy teams to add new products online to support launch campaigns
· Audit product presentation online to ensure that content is on-brand and accurate.
· Report on E-Commerce and Total Product Selling to Marketing and E-Commerce teams.
· Review competitor’s online presence and report back to larger internal teams regularly.
· Serve as subject matter expert on E-Commerce Merchandising Tools and Platform.
· Recommend enhancements to both the E-Commerce Shopping Experience and Merchandising Administrative tools.
· Research and assist in remedying bugs associated with Arhaus.com and the Merchandising Administrative platform, collaborating with Web Development.
· Collaborate with internal teams to strategically optimize online experiences with improved product discovery capabilities through measuring site behavior, and sales conversion as core competencies.
· Partner with E-Commerce Operations team to ensure that both customer-facing sites as well as administrative tools are operating at peak performance
· Partner on testing strategies within the Design/UX, Merchandising, and Marketing teams.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in merchandising, marketing, communication, or related field
· 2-3 years of experience in Retail Merchandising
· 2-3 years of experience in E-Commerce Merchandising
· Demonstrated ability to execute merchandising strategies
· Self-starter with ability to own projects and processes
· Strong analytical skills in reviewing sales and site performance
· Expertise in working with E-Commerce Platforms and Content Management Systems (CMS)
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills
· Google Analytics experience a plus
· Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and processes
