Position Summary:


  • Support Kimberly Clark’s digital transformation vision by defining and implementing industry best practices in relation to all aspects of programmatic media buying and planning operations.  The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with DMPs, data on-boarders, DSPs, Social Platforms and/or other media buying platforms.


  • Collaborate with internal and external partners who specialize in Analytics, Data Driven Marketing, Behavioral Science and Marketing IT to connect into a seamless capability framework and set of best practices for our regional and local market stakeholders to adopt and leverage.


Internal and External Environment:


  • Internal:  Sr. Director Global Media & Content Capability, Regional/Local Media/Digital leaders, Global Director Analytics Innovation, Data Driven Marketing & CRM Manager, CMO Leadership team, CIO Leadership team, Global and regional sector leadership teams


  • External:   Agencies, Industry Peers, Media Platform Publishers, Media Tech Vendors


Main Challenges:


  • Ensure K-C is getting maximum return from programmatic investments where fee transparency, brand safety and ineffective use of tactics pose risks


  • Leverage internal, agency and partner data platforms to better understand activation audiences and how to communicate with them in more relevant ways


  • Define, document and socialize effective digital media activation solutions which are relevant and resilient to global market variations in landscape, data, laws, partners, technology and consumer adoption


  • Communicate complex capability in a way that is simple, compelling and displays clear advantages to K-C brand and business goalKeep K-C on the leading edge of world class marketers who leverage audience data across all potential 1st, 2nd and 3rd party sources to deliver our brands a competitive advantage.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Build overarching governance protocols for foundational best practices of all digital campaigns (eg. Renovate End to End campaign planning to activation protocols that applies Audience Strategy and integration with eRetail/Commerce; Utilization of reputation management via Ad Verification provider)


  • Build and align audience strategy/processes pairing together media and creative to bring audience-first communications to life


  • Generate future-forward plan for continuity of targeting and measurement considering diminishment of cookie inclusive of integrations and partnerships needed


  • Lead upskilling of strategic deployment digital planning/buying in-housing capabilities in partnership with local market teams


  • Build competency and inclusion toward retail media/commerce into overarching campaign processes


  • Enact digital media fundamentals by rolling out high standards for media and ad operations (eg. Naming conventions protocols being operationalized; baseline expectations for campaign management – financial processes, optimization expectations)


  • Select and/or refine Mar Technology end to end stack and integrate with ad tech components with K-C owned contracts (if not already complete) for full operationalization


  • Develop global-local processes to aggregate best practices data-based insights to guide toward right solutions and approaches


  • Adjust global strategy to regional nuances for China (BAT) and Russia (Yandex, Mail.Ru, MyTarget)


  • Scale data-driven marketing approaches, by partnering with local markets to help guide them towards the right solutions and approaches


  • Advise markets on campaigns, using data-based insights with the goal of efficiently achieving important metrics and building new marketing campaign opportunities.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or graduate level degree in relevant field preferred

Experience: 


  • Minimum 10 years of experience in audience strategy or media


  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working with a DMP/CDP or data amplification platforms


  • Strong familiarity with data onboarding platforms (LiveRamp, Neustar, and et.al.)


  • Strong familiarity with digital advertising MarTech ecosystems (DCM/DBM, DSPs , etc.)


  • Solid understanding of data technology integrations across data sources and ecosystems, and troubleshoot.


  • Experience working with digital analytics and audience insights reporting (GA360)

  • Communication skill ability to make complicated subjects and capabilities accessible, understandable and actionable for our US and international teams


  • Demonstrated ability to articulate strategy, capability solutions and their business implications that can drive impact with Sr. Executives and Business leaders within K-C


  • Ability to prioritize and maintain focus in complex and shifting environments


  • Ability to clearly document frameworks, standards and guidelines simply and clearly
