Job Description:

Summary:
The Sales Operations Department is responsible for supporting the day to day operations for the sales, account management and related departments. They strive to improve outcomes, increase sales and persistency results through strategic and operational enhancements. As a Sales Support Specialist II, you will be responsible for developing relationships with brokers and agents in defined markets. This Sales Support Specialist II will be in constant contact with internal and external customers, including brokers and sales reps.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:


  • Analytical Skills: Must understand market dynamics and understand how to maximize messaging effectiveness.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Salesforce, and Outlook experience preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work with agents and brokers to convey the value proposition of Avesis.
  • Critical Thinking: Must be able to come to conclusions based on data and sales and marketing strategies.
  • Attention to Detail.

New Sales Support:
Creating introductions and building ongoing relationships to help drive sales

Existing business support includes responsibilities like:


  • Developing ways to upsell and cross sell products throughout the business
  • Business owner for appropriate applications
Other Requirements:

  • Ability to coordinate department initiatives across multiple internal departments.
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills are required for contact with internal and external customers, brokers, and group.
  • Ability to prioritize work schedule with focus on projects of primary importance. Time management and the ability to meet client-driven deadlines are essential.
  • Highly results oriented with demonstrated experience balancing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and possess the ability to work well with others while meeting project deadlines.
  • Effective handling of confidential client, provider and member information in compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Education: HS Graduate
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a data, operations, or process improvement field.
  • Knowledge: Outlook, SalesForce preferred
