Job Summary

Associate Product Manager will be responsible for driving and executing marketing programs that support the Cleanroom business needs to build and grow a profitable business. This position is accountable for developing initiatives that help drive the key strategies for the business, as well as collaborating with key customers and stakeholders (both internal and external). The position will report to the Global Manager, Cleanroom Products and is accountable for understanding all aspects of the Cleanroom Business.

Core Responsibilities


  • Ability to lead superior program management and measurable performance to drive net sales, operating profit, and market share of the Cleanroom Business.


  • Play a critical role in growing the Cleanroom business.


  • Ability to pull insights from multiple sources and synthesize into a compelling story for the appropriate audience (customers, internal leadership, sales team).


  • Serve as the internal and external representative for the Cleanroom Business offerings, working closely with internal stakeholders, key customers and leadership team.


  • Provide leadership for commercial program development and execution (including sales collateral, training and technical product support).


  • Assist in leading the introduction of innovation into the marketplace (develop and manage technical claims, provide technical product support).


  • Monitor the Global cleanroom marketplace, collect business intelligence, perform market research, identify opportunities to exploit.


  • Develop and refine marketing, communication and market activation plans (support media advertising, trade relations and brand building activities, develop customer facing webinars and podcasts, provide trade show assistance and support).


  • Analyze syndicated data to inform business decisions, forecast business results and infer manufacturing implications.


  • Drive onboarding activities of new customers and new codes with existing customers (support internal and external technical product and customer inquiries, support rebate programs, participate in annual distributor sales meetings and supplier expos)


Qualifying Experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/related field and minimum 2-4 years prior experience required preferably in Marketing; MBA desirable or equivalent experience


  • Ability to work independently (self-motivated) and complete projects within required timeframes.


  • Strong communication and presentation skills with large audiences.


  • Capability to survey the market landscape, evaluate potential opportunities, develop business plans, gain sponsorship and implement.


  • Strong financial acumen preferred.


  • Comfort dealing with internal cross functional teams at all levels to champion the Cleanroom businesses and negotiate with external parties to secure favorable terms for Halyard.


  • Ability to apply Marketing concepts in a dynamic market landscape including product innovation, market coordination and pricing.


  • Motivated by challenges and possesses a robust sense of urgency and curiosity.


  • Passionate about driving brand growth by meeting customer and end user needs.


  • Strong skills and experience with diagnosing and resolving complex problems and opportunities.


  • Able to make tough, informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track
