Arcadis Gen is looking for Gen Sales Executive . Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, Gen Sales Executive provide a key role in delivering our business growth. They lead our market engagement in their allocated territories, and are core members of the Market and Sales development community.

The Opportunity:

Gen sales executive are responsible for the identification, development and conversion of prospects and opportunities. They ensure our propositions meet our customers' buying needs, and ultimately deliver high value engagements of mutual benefit to Gen, our customers and our partners.

The Gen product and solution portfolio is market leading; offering the opportunity to disrupt etsablished practices in critical asset management through embedding digital innovation. The Gen sales community are at the forefront of representing this capability, establishing customer demand and securing our growth through value-based sales.

Central to the success of this role is a deep understanding of our customers' needs and requirements, as is a broad knowledge of the digital asset management landscape. Working flexibly across the GEN Biosphere, Sales Executives will be instrumental in aligning our business propositions to ensure we secure the significant opportunities on offer in our target markets.

Core Responsibilities Includes:

Customer and Market Development: Gen Sales Executives will develop and maintain market and customer intelligence, and establish and draw-upon a strong network of contacts across the market domain. They will utilise this network to promote Gen capabilities, products and solutions, influence customer requirements, secure opportunities to quote and deliver winning propositions. Ultimately, Gen Sales Executives will be responsible for meeting order intake, account growth and associated market development targets.

Sales planning and execution: Our Sales Executives are responsible for the development and delivery of sales, campaign and capture plans within their assigned market territories. They will pro-actively engage internal and external stakeholders to inform and help implement their plans, report progress against their plans to the Gen leadership team, and be mindful of the need for agility and adaptation should market conditions or sales performance dictate accordingly.

Product & Solution Awareness : Gen Sales Executives will be expected to develop and maintain a broad understanding of our product and solution portfolio, and be able to represent the value we deliver in the customer's context. Our sales community will also provide market intelligence back in to the business and thereby inform and influence our future product roadmap.

Sales information and performance management : Gen Sales Executives take a structured and systematic approach to engaging their market opportunities, and are expected to record and communicate customer engagements and opportunity progression in accordance with our CRM practices and other Gen meeting agendas. Timely and accurate udpates to the Gen sales pipeline is a key requriement of the role, as is adhering to our published Gen Pursuit Governance approach.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary teams within Gen, Arcadis core, and wider ecosystem and platform partners, to ensure GEN both generously shares and takes advantage of available synergies, to each parties' mutual benefit.

What We Are Looking For:

Gen Sales Executives will have an established reputation for delivering sales in to our current or similar target markets. They will be known as a thought leader and influencer, with a broad understanding of how digital technologies can disrupt established practices and deliver exceptional customer value.

Beyond that we are looking for:


  • Responsible for orchestrating Commercial relationship with AMTRAK including:
  • Communicate with all stakeholders within AMTRAK to build a satisfied customer.
  • Communicate with Arcadis Gen delivery team on status of project delivery
  • Capable of creating new business opportunities within AMTRAK to deliver revenue targets
  • Create new opportunities in transportation and infrastructure sector for AG using:
  • IBM as a lead generation partner for opportunities
  • Own existing network in infrastructure sector using AG solutions (EDA, EAM, PgCM)
  • Experience of more than 15 years in market development and managing the sales cycle to deliver on order targets within the EAM and or AIP space.
  • Strong commercial acumen and senior level experience in presenting and closing deals.
  • A track record in accurate and relevant sales information management, opportunity classification and prioritisation.
  • Demonstrable customer relationship management skills, leading to enduring engagements and account growth.
  • A well established and demonstrable network of contacts in the industry that can be leveraged.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to represent the company in senior client engagements and at industry events.
  • Proven track record of developing effective collaborations with market or technology influencing partners, such as academia, industry trade organisations and governmental or regulatory bodies.

Required Qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in Market Development and Sales Cycle

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Global Sales
