Position: Kronos Administrator Level I

Job Description:

Forward Air is seeking a Kronos Administrator to work in the IT department as part of our Corporate Systems team. This position will be responsible for administrating Kronos for the corporation. This role serves as the point-of-contact for the HR, Payroll, and operational teams and is the functional subject matter expert for the Kronos Workforce Central application.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:


  • Maintain/order/apply Kronos licenses
  • Reset user passwords
  • Support time off requests
  • Researches, formats, and schedules exception reporting and creates ad hoc reports designed to simplify processes, improve efficiency, and measure performance
  • Support setup of schedules
  • Adjust accrual verification, as needed
  • Maintain user documentation
  • Training for new employees / managers
  • Add new and troubleshoot time clock errors
  • Manage Labor Level Sets
  • Use critical thinking to analyze various issues reported by Payroll and HR departments and draw reasonable conclusions
  • Test and validate configuration within the Kronos application
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree preferred, not required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in reporting metrics/data analytics
  • Minimum 3 years and demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

Skills:

  • The ideal candidate will have an understanding of PTO concepts, such as accruals
  • Ideal candidate will possess a "can do" attitude with a "will do" work ethic
  • Must be a self-starter that does not require constant direction
  • Strong team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills with ability to communicate effectively across all levels of operations/users, including translating between technical and functional teams
  • Ability to drive forward with proactive behavior and taker ownership
