DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Serve as the face of the JPMorgan's Private Bank business in the Brazil region. Advise clients on financial plans using knowledge of tax and investment strategies, securities, insurance, pension plans, and real estate. Responsible for the sale and implementation of investment, banking and trust/estate products to core clients and Ultra High Net Worth individuals and families in the Brazil region. Lead new client acquisition and retention through a broad knowledge of investments, banking, trust services and financial planning. Work directly with clients to develop investment policy statements and set asset allocation strategies driven by a rigorous due diligence and manager selection process. Leverage and coordinate specialists (Investor, Capital Advisor, Trust and Estate Advisor and Wealth Advisor) to provide interdisciplinary expertise and complete wealth management solutions to our most complex clients. Build trust with clients and effectively manage relationships. Oversee client accounts to ensure each client has a completed profile, is introduced to the appropriate product specialists and that accounts are properly maintained and serviced. Ensure that the proposed products and services maximize the clients' needs, goals and objectives. Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal partners and teammates. Provide guidance to junior level staff and ensure they understand and comply with internal risk and control agenda items. Ensure compliance with the applicable laws and regulations for the Brazil region, specifically those which govern the type of activities Bankers can engage in. Must travel internationally 1-2 weeks up to 7-10 times per year.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years of experience as a Private Banker, Relationship Manager, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with: successfully selling financial products and sourcing new clients including experience with prospecting, profiling, overcoming objections, negotiating, team selling approach, closing sales and obtaining referrals; managing and developing relationships with Ultra High Net Worth clients in the region; coordinating a team of product specialists across all areas including credit, investments, succession planning, banking, and fiduciary and trusts; managing team of junior level bankers responsible for delivering a wide range of financial services to Ultra High Net Worth clients, as well as client sourcing and retention; successfully establishing connections within Private Banking core client space and professional centers of influence; conducting portfolio reviews with Ultra High Net Worth clients; working with investments, banking, and trust concepts including, but not limited to: asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, basic trust and estate products and identification of wealth planning opportunities; compliance policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements for financial industry in Brazil, Mexico, Andes, and Southern Cone region; and Brazilian financial markets on- and off-shore. This position requires international travel 1-2 weeks up to 7-10 times per year. This position requires Series 7 & 63 license registration.
