Job Description:

This position is responsible for validating loan pricing for interest rate lock requests in a time sensitive, volume-based environment. The primary function of this position is to ensure pricing is accurately processed in the loan origination system in accordance to company policies and guidelines.

Additional responsibilities include responding to pricing related questions raised by internal team members, prioritizing submitted lock
requests, generating lock confirmations, and efficiently handling other loan related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Validate pricing of basic to complex interest rate lock requests to ensure pricing is correct and properly processed.
• Accurate and timely input of rate lock data.
• Monitor, sort, prioritize and distribute incoming lock requests via GM mailboxes to ensure requestsare processed within mutually agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLA's).
• Handle all pricing exceptions, renegotiations, rate lock extensions and waivers.
• Must be able to achieve an average of 95% or greater pricing accuracy.
• Generate lock confirmations upon completion of the lock request, as required. Maintain all supporting documentation (e.g. agreement and pricing grid).
• Research policy and procedures to validate appropriate course of action needed to properly lock or respond to pricing-related topics.
• Respond to price variance reports and manual audits. Answer all questions related to the appropriate pricing of a loan.
• Must be able to comply with strict GAD requirements for pricing and safekeeping of sensitive customer's information.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2 or more years mortgage industry experience or pricing-related experience.
• Ability to work well with peers, immediate management, and other individuals outside of the team.
• Very strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and able to perform in a high pressure, time sensitive environment.
• Must be highly motivated, committed and detail oriented individual.
• Strong organizational skills, including good judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and outstanding work ethic.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with a variety of individuals and departments within Commercial Term Lending.
• Strong PC skills on Microsoft Excel and Word.
