The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for performing logistics operations with ADTRAN and 3rd party material from both ADTRAN managed and 3rd party-controlled warehouses in support of ADTRAN customers and professional services business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage ADTRAN and customer owned inventory in advanced warehouse locations, including 3rd party material for professional services installations with a focus on a specific program.
Access customer systems to confirm material job pull requests are valid to prevent issuing excess equipment beyond what has been ordered by the customer.
Validate material requirements for job requests have been delivered to the supporting warehouse location utilizing 3rd party warehouse reporting and tools.
Send ASN (Advanced Ship Notifications) to 3rd party warehouse as pre-alerts for inbounding process based upon ADTRAN, customer supplier, and customer direct shipment reporting.
Research POD (Proof of Delivery) to confirm arrival of material in transit to customer locations, 3rd party warehouses, or installation partner addresses.
Conduct inventory research and cycle counts as needed to ensure warehouse inventory accuracy.
Coordinate communication flow to ADTRAN Services PM team relative to material readiness.
Validate 3rd party material lose and execute corresponding billing activities
Coordinate material inventory levels with ADTRAN Planning team.
Other projects and assignments may result and be assigned to accommodate the changing needs of the department and the Company.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related field required or additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
0-2 years prior warehousing or accounting based experienced.
Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge required, specifically Excel.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
