Job Description:

The Managed Accounts Middle Office team supports this business, performing these primary functions: (a) implementing equity trades for discretionary strategies, (b) ensuring the accuracy of investment data used within the portfolio implementation process, (c) delivering model portfolios to sponsoring intermediaries for non-discretionary strategies, and (d) working with internal partners to improve the scalability and efficiency of the business. While the Managed Accounts Middle Office resides within the Operations organization, it is tightly integrated with the Front Office Portfolio Managers and Product Specialists.

The Role


  • Trade discretionary Managed Accounts on a daily basis across a variety of investment strategies:

o New account investments

o Cash and security activity

o Tax harvesting requests

• Implement Portfolio Manager model changes for 10+ equity strategies


  • Review client accounts for model drift and strategy deviation

• Monitor and update models for non-discretionary platforms

  • Research and respond to specific account inquiries in a timely manner

  • Partner with the PM teams, client service and technology teams to resolve issues and improve scale and efficiency
  • Participate in the planning and development of new business processes
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement by defining, documenting and implementing process improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years work experience in the financial services industry
  • Strong analytical skills with a desire to drive automation utilizing Intelligent Automation tools
  • Detail and goal oriented, process focused
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
