Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Fund Treasury Operations Service Delivery team in overseeing fund administration activities including: monthly expense budgeting and accruals, monthly calculation of asset-based fees, periodic distribution calculations, and Prospectus and Statement of Additional information updates

- Management of Global Distributed Operating Model

- Daily point of contact for queries and issues with our clients and their outside administrators/advisors.

- Coordinate and monitor fund administration group activities, client inquiries, ad hoc requests.

- Work with Technology, Operations and Stakeholders to determine process improvements and strategic direction, including development of and monitoring of ROI.

- Responsible for Issue Management, Escalation and Remediation

- Responsible for Client Behavior changes associated with all JP Morgan's services and initiatives/programs

- Support Client Service reviews, MI meetings/client workshops and represent JP Morgan at industry events.

- Coordinate Client Fund Launches and Migrations for all JP Morgan FSO services

- Successful delivery of all Client Ad-hoc Reporting

- Coordinate Client and Audit Management Time Table, Financial Reporting and Tax Cycles

- Support Audit Comments on Draft Financial Statements

- Manage Financial Reporting Client Comments and Updates

Qualifications

- 5-7 years of experience in mutual fund operations, with a minimum of 3-5 in fund administration/treasury services

- Experience in fund administration activities: monthly expense budgeting and accruals, monthly calculation of asset-based fees, periodic distribution calculations, and Prospectus and Statement of Additional information updates.

- Strong technical skills including mutual fund accounting and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

- Exceptional leadership and staff development skills with prior team management experience

- Ability to be effective in a global operating environment and matrix management organizations.

- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and with external clients.

- Analytical skills, problem solving, good critical thinking and decision-making skills.

- Experience working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver results.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment.

- Relationship building skills - ability to develop internal and external partnerships to drive results.

- Expert use of Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and ability to present to senior management.
