The Operations Supervisor provides leadership and supervision to ODBEC weekend staff.  Generally, this person will be the only supervisor in the building on weekends and must be able to successfully manage all staff, client, volunteer and facility issues arising on weekends.


SCHEDULE:  Saturday & Sunday: 8am - 4pm (including 30-minute lunch break)


The Operations Supervisor is responsible for:



  • Assure staffing is in place for ODB Lunch service

  • Respond to any critical building issues that arise

  • Respond to any staff, client or volunteer issues that arise

  • Monitor weekend employee work and assure all job assignments are completed

  • Assure the Center is left in good order for Monday operations

 


This position will require the following:



  • High School diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree in related field desired.

  • 5 years’ experience supervising other employees

  • 3 years’ experience in building operations and food service

  • Must have ServSafe certification or abilty to get it within 6 months of hire date

  • Requires the ability to utilize computer systems and software necessary to perform position functions. Basic Windows PC, web browsing (i.e. Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.), and Microsoft Outlook skills required.  Other Microsoft Office application knowledge, such as Word, Excel PowerPoint, Skype, and OneDrive desired.

  • Ability to travel to other locations for training and meetings. If driving on agency business, must have a valid driver’s license with no more than three (3) points.

  • Due to 24/7 nature of ODBEC, should be available to work regardless of weather conditions, and on occasion, be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
