Within Global Philanthropy, the Employee Engagement and Volunteerism (EEV) team manages JPMorgan Chase's portfolio of employee volunteer programs, which engages employees in strategic volunteerism and workplace giving. The team manages a portfolio of skills-based programming that leverages the talent and expertise of employees to support the firm's Corporate Responsibility agenda.

In order to continue growing its portfolio and deliver high-quality programming, Global Philanthropy seeks an Associate to support its EEV team. The EEV Associate will provide critical program support to our skills-based volunteerism programming, primarily supporting the Program Managers overseeing our Small Business and Youth Mentorship portfolios. These two portfolios manage signature volunteer initiatives that engage talent from across the firm to support entrepreneurs and youth in communities across the United States. The Associate will also provide project management and support for other skills-based programs as necessary.

Responsibilities:


  • Support the Small Business and Youth Mentorship Program Managers in delivering best in class skills-based volunteer programs
  • Oversee logistics for high-profile events in close coordination with Program Managers, with responsibility for pre-event briefing and run of show development, guest and participant management, and post-event reporting
  • Provide back-up support while Program Managers are in the field, including ensuring timely responses to ad hoc requests and coordinating necessary employee outreach
  • Support the team with grants management and vendor/contract management
  • Provide assistance with employee recruitment through the management of volunteer lists, outreach to market partners, and program promotion to internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist stakeholders (e.g. employees, entrepreneurs, students) in accessing firm technology (WebEx, Zoom, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Support Program Managers in data tracking and impact measurement, including oversight of program dashboards, survey management, and reporting
  • Identify necessary process improvements, including new approaches to improve user experience
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of program resource folders (e.g. grant proposals and coordinating documents, program collateral, impact reports)
  • Support EEV team with communication efforts, to include communicating program impact (internally and external) in online and printed materials, social media, liaising with the relevant teams; assist EEV team with sharing of best practices, approaches and tools for corporate volunteering programs
  • Additional projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years of project management experience; demonstrated capability to lead and manage projects
  • Experience with entrepreneurs or students is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to provide excellent service to Corporate Responsibility internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-performance, professional environment, with quick turn-around and changing priorities
  • Demonstration of problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative
  • Desire to continually improve programming, seek information and look for new approaches to processes and practices
  • Experience interacting with executive management and senior leadership
  • Familiarity with virtual and web-based conferencing tools (Zoom, Go to Meeting, etc.)
  • High attention to detail across all mediums of communication
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications required
