Role Description

Ability to understand requirements being driven at the larger firm and CCB level, and represent Home Lending Originations in execution

Gathers, inputs and leverages data for routine/standard business and/or financial analysis and business case development

Proactively looks for ways to improve processes and procedures

Prioritizes and manages in a way that uses internal partners/resources effectively

Prioritizes to ensure critical audit related inquiries and requests are completed on time and accurately

Effectively applies Controls standards and requirements, ability to effectively communicate requirements and manage others to be compliant

Is decisive; communicates findings, issues and proposed solutions to business executives and impacted Line of Business partners and customers

Uses knowledge of current business controls standards and requirements to recommend solutions and provide training to customers

Is viewed as a confident and trusted leader by internal customers

Produces clear and succinct written and verbal communications and knows how to think through framed messages for different audiences

Able to engage diverse groups of partners and customers

Actively looks for ways to improve service to partners and customers

Eager to learn/understand Third Party Oversight controls and requirements to effectively manage Supplier Relationships

Ability to understand supplier engagements/contract terms and build appropriate reporting to manage supplier relationship

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of mortgage originations or servicing experience.

Vendor management experience strongly preferred

Operational mindset

Conflict resolution, change management, influencing, project management, leadership, delegation and coaching skills.

Ability to drive risk and controls agendas

LOB, business process and procedures and business applications knowledge

Subject matter expert within function

Ability to use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications, strong analytical skills preferred
