Job Description:

Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. The CCB Data & Analytics Team responsibly leverages data to build competitive advantages for our businesses with value and protection for customers. The team encompasses a variety of disciplines, from data governance and data strategy/partnerships to reporting, data science and machine learning, and are actively engaged in driving impact through Sales and Marketing transformation. Joining CCB Data & Analytics CFO team means you sit in the engine that powers Chase with insights, providing strategic financial and business management insights with an opportunity to materially impact both our customer and business outcomes.

In this role, you will be responsible for optimizes business performance by helping to drive key initiatives. Business Managers act as trusted advisors and counterweight to business heads, and are responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks.

This is a dynamic, time-pressured and high-profile position which is instrumental in assisting/advising senior management and coordinating the deployment of the bank's resources to address strategic and tactical objectives.

Primary responsibilities include:


  • Driving optimization of resource allocations and 'bottom line' business performance through leading key initiatives
  • Providing transparency on business results, reporting on the value created by the team and supporting prioritization of investments
  • Partnering to drive coordinated prioritization of technology investment dollars - including partnering with Agile Product Owners and GMS to ensure their respective Books of Work are prioritized to drive strategic initiatives and efficiencies
  • Supporting preparation for business reviews and other key meetings, as well as speaking engagements as needed
  • Providing insights and drive organizational efficiencies and ad-hoc strategic projects
  • Analyzing financial performance, including expenses; identifying productivity initiatives and driving implementation
  • Business representation in respective internal/external working groups

Qualifications


  • 7+ years of experience in Finance, Economics, Business, or other related field
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred
  • Previous product knowledge and/or prior Business Management or COO experience
  • Energetic and dynamic in style
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
  • Present well to senior and global business heads
  • Able to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to both define and deliver to conclusion a strategic agenda across multiple groups
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail with logical thought process
