Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a Senior Consultant with experience in Data Governance. The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada.
  


• Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree


• 4+ years of experience with Information Technology


• 3+ years of Data Governance (DG) experience in a Consulting role


• 2+ years of experience in data disciplines, with at least 2 years in relevant advisory roles in any of the following areas:
  
  
  
  • Data Warehouse strategy definition or solution design, Data Governance solution design & implementation
  
  
  • Data security solution design & implementation
  
  
  • BI & Analytics Assessment, Solution Architecture Blue Print, Implementation Roadmap Creation
  
  


• 1+ years of direct customer interfacing experience, data management related experience such as data analysis, data governance, enterprise information management, data modeling and data quality management.


• Good experience in end-to-end implementation of DW BI projects, especially in data warehouse and mart developments


• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting


• Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle


• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies


• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required, we are not able to sponsor at this time

• 4+ years of experience in software development life cycle


• 4+ years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects


• Partner with Data Stewards for requirements, integrations, and processes, participate in meetings and working sessions


• Partner with Data Management and integration leads to continuously improve Data Management technologies and processes


• At least 2 years of experience in one of the below:
  
  
  
  • Data privacy, compliance or data governance implementation
  
  
  • Data protection & data security measures (encryption, anonymization etc.)
  
  


• Certification or End-to-End implementation of frameworks / offerings experience in any of the Regulations/Act/Laws like CCPA, GDPR, AML, KYC, CDD, MiFID, BCBS, HIPPA, IFRS etc.


• 2+ years of experience on any one of data governance, data catalogue, data discovery and data security tools


• Strong SQL/PL SQL experience for data analysis, report generation, data profiling and reverse engineering


• Prior experience of working closely with business and data stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, create a plan for delivering the artifacts & lead the team to create and deliver the artifacts as per the project requirements


• Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and collaborate with business, subject matter experts and delivery teams to develop strategic business solutions.


• Experience in Data Governance of wide variety of data types structured semi structured and unstructured data and wide variety of data sources


• Hands-on development, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems


• CI / CD exposure


• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment


• Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to diverse teams namely, technical, business and management teams


• Experience managing team size of 2-3 would be a plus and capable of creating data governance roadmap


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job may entail extensive travel.  The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.  Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
