Successful candidate will work with and sell Metrix products to plant technicians, engineers and managers as it relates to the Air Separation Market and O&G Midstream Market. Candidate will act as a consultant for Metrix machine condition monitoring applications in all Metrix Markets (O&G, Combined Cycle, Coal and Nuclear Power, Water and Wastewater Treatment, etc.). This is a remote position and candidate must reside on the west coast. |
Responsibilities: |
Responsibilities: · Meet/Exceed assigned quarterly and yearly regional sales target · Call on customers directly, determine needs and sell Metrix solutions · Provide customer and channel relationship management · Prepare, deliver and respond to customer quotes · Conduct customer training · Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements · Recommends product modifications and standardizations to eliminate unprofitable items · Anticipate and analyze customer (current and future trends) needs, industry market segment trends · Execute market and segment growth strategy · Identify new markets · Conduct territory data analysis · Implement project and opportunity forecasting · Launch new products in the territory · Provide competitive intelligence · Provide information and intelligence for new products and solutions Additional Responsibilities: · Follow all company safety policies and procedures and organizes work areas for efficiency and safety. · Provides status reports to management as required. · Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required. |
Qualifications and Experience: |
Education and Experience: · Four-year engineering degree and/or four years of experience in the vibration monitoring field. · Have two or more years of operations and or maintenance (O&M) experience in the Oil & Gas, Air Separation, and or Power Generation industry, or equivalent military experience. · 3+ years of direct selling “sales” experience, in an industrial environment, within the past 7 years. Preferably in the Oil & Gas and/or Power Generation market segments. · 1+ years of vibration monitoring experience, and/or two or more years of experience working with instrumentation in a plant environment, including control systems, SCADA systems, RTU’s, etc. Acceptable for the vibration and/or instrumentation experience may coincide with the plant O&M experience.
