Job Description:

As a hands-on SDET Manager, you will be heading a team of test automation engineers focused on our core shopping app. You will be leading the design and implementation of the test automation vision for the engineering team responsible for automating mobile applications for Android, iOS, and React Native. You will collaborate with developers, solution architects, and product owners to drive the strategy of building out the mobile automation solutions across the organization. You will need to lead through innovative strategic thinking in building solutions.

Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • Enhance and lead Test Automation team that helps to delivers high-quality data products.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to both Test Automaton team members and product peers.

  • Work closely with cross-functional technology partners and business teams.

  • Coach, mentor engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of professional experience in test automation, software development, or related field

  • 3 or more years of experience building automated solutions in mobile software including Android, iOS, and/or React Native.

  • 1 or more years of managing cross-functional engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in creating and implementing test automation strategies, automated testing methodologies, and approaches, tools, techniques (unit, functional, integration), executing automated test suites, and debugging test failures

  • Experience working with Cloud ecosystems

  • Hands-on knowledge and understanding of DevOps tools and technologies such as GIT, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience working with one or more of the following languages: Java, Xcode, React Native, and Javascript.

  • Strong working knowledge of CICD

  • Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) in Waterfall, and Agile work environments

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Desire and ability to learn other programming languages.

  • Knowledge of SQL, Shell scripting, Cloud platforms
