Edelman is seeking a collaborative teammate and Digital Senior Vice President to join the Public Affairs practice in Dallas, TX.

You possess a strength in digital campaign management and ability to ensure tactical elements are executed effectively, while connecting into an overarching strategy and client objectives/mission.

You are a proven client strategist with demonstrated experience leading integrated teams including research, planning, creative, analytics and owned, paid, and earned media offerings.

You have a passion for the reputation programs or public affairs work that play out in digital channels and social platforms as well as connecting brands with relevant social movements and audience passions. You understand and appreciate the rapid response dynamics of a digital political campaign and can apply these skills to issues management and grassroots programming.

We are looking for a teammate who is resilient, has a strong work ethic, places a priority on professional and agency success, delivers high quality work, and learns every day. The ideal candidate will be a skilled digital strategist and tactician with corporate reputation or public affairs experience and an interest in energy and power-related clients or issues. Exposure to energy matters and experience working with energy sector clients and policy is ideal, but not required, as is experience working as part of an agency or in-house communications or policy team.

Key Responsibilities:


    • Help develop and lead best-in-class strategic communication corporate reputation and public affairs campaigns and programs

    • Lead day-to-day activities, providing oversight of an integrated team; supervising future leaders by motivating, coaching, providing consistent feedback, and holding them accountable

    • Oversee operational account performance, ensuring high-quality campaign/program execution that is on strategy and aligned on budget; performing regular reconciliation to inform resource adjustments as needed

    • Manage work-streams to ensure executional excellence of social content creation, engagement, influencer relations, paid media amplification, ongoing measurement, reporting and analytics - helping to advance insights-driven strategies

    • Serve as daily client contact, addressing timely client issues thoughtfully and effectively

    • Collaborate with senior leadership in identifying and developing opportunities for account growth

    • Build and manage relationships with third-parties and internal business partners to meet client needs; ensuring operational excellence as an extension of internal team

    • Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals

Qualifications:

    • Experienced tenure in social media marketing with familiarity in amplified content strategy

    • Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful integrated campaigns

    • Experience shaping and leading data-driven, measurable programs

    • Demonstrated success in new business proposal writing and pitching

    • Digital agency and policy/political communications marketing experience

    • Demonstrated tactical proficiency in digital media, including creating and driving digital and social media plans

    • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years professional experience
