The Professional Learning Program Manager conducts professional learning sessions and provides customer support for educators, corporate partners, governmental bodies, professional organizations, and other stakeholders and groups as directed. Drawing on experience and insight from previous work in the educational field, the Professional Learning Program Manager adapts and delivers information across multiple media to meet the diverse informational needs of a range of stakeholders. This position also assists in successfully initiating and managing partner relationships with internal employees, external contractors, vendors, consultants and managing a collaborative workflow related to timing, quality, budget, and overall client satisfaction.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develops, reviews, and delivers face-to-face and virtual presentations and workshops for various stakeholder groups for both awareness and implementation of The Lexile Framework for Reading and The Quantile Framework for Mathematics.
Conferences with clients well in advance via phone and email to ensure professional learning will meet the needs of attendees as well as schedules the professional development, tracks delivery, and provides analysis of educator needs and need for altering professional development.
Identifies resources clients may have from MetaMetrics' partners that can be spotlighted during presentations-e.g., online databases, benchmark assessments, etc.
Designs course materials and other documentation, using e-learning technologies when applicable, to support users and meet their learning needs.
Provides prompt and direct support to customers via phone and email to assure accomplishment of agreed-upon goals and objectives.
Maintains strong professional relationships with current and potential clients across all levels of organizational structure, listening and attending to their needs and leveraging those opportunities to embed company products and services into their existing initiatives.
Assists the State Team in securing sales when necessary.
Monitors, evaluates, and reviews the quality and effectiveness of presentations and workshops.
Conducts assessment and outcomes of presentations and workshops delivered.
Conducts employee training when needed.
Networks and establishes relationships with potential clients and other outside professional organizations, building awareness of both Lexile and Quantile measures and potential collaboration opportunities.
Develops and designs, in collaboration with marketing when necessary, new leave-behind product(s), e.g., lesson planning template, Unit of Study template, school implementation plan, online resource list of databases, state-specific directions for efficiently searching their databases, etc.
Communicates and collaborates with internal departments, managers, and staff to assure they are working in concert on customer initiatives and helps to resolve issues impacting group success, leveraging education experience to raise awareness and highlight needs of customers working in the education field.
Prepares background documents on literacy and mathematics curriculum and instruction research and methods as needed
Develops and reviews instructional activities and utilities designed for various levels of users (e.g., educators, parents, and students) providing feedback across the company on the applicability, usability, and efficacy of such activities and utilities in an educational setting.
Recommends and helps develop tools, procedural documentation, specifications, and technologies to improve workflow efficiency and to improve quality of work.
Keeps up-to-date on the latest research into effective learning and teaching practices, and use this to inform work done with schools, districts, regions, and state-level agencies.
Up to 50% travel required post-Covid.
Perform other duties as assigned.
The position will be remote through 2021 due to the pandemic, at which time the location will be re-evaluated.

. Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
Minimum of 5 years of recent teaching experience at multiple grades and/or ranges (depending on the amount of teaching experience) in the areas of English language arts/reading and/or mathematics. Additional experience in school/district administration and/or leadership preferred.
Experience leading and facilitating professional learning opportunities with teachers, librarians, and educators in literacy and/or mathematics, in both face-to-face and online environments.
Minimum of 3 years of recent leadership experience in a State Education Agency or district highly preferred.
Knowledge of multiple approaches to teaching mathematics.
Knowledge of The Quantile Framework for Mathematics preferred.
Computer Skills: Proficient in internet navigation; Microsoft Windows operating system; and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge and experience utilizing Google products required. CRM experience preferred.
