Position Description:
The AMETEK Chemical Products Division (CPD) consists of two businesses, Fluoropolymer Products and Westchester Plastics. Westchester Plastics is a leader in the production of an array of specialty compounds for leading plastic compounders and resin producers in the US in a variety of industries. Westchester plastics produces from Nesquehoning, PA.
Westchester Plastics is looking for an Inventory Control Coordinator (ICC) who will be the primary in-house liaison between customers and manufacturing. This position will report to the Plant Manager. The ICC will process customer orders, monitor the progression of raw materials throughout the manufacturing processes and keep customers appraised of order status on regular intervals. The ICC accurately reconciles all raw materials and finished products and generates completion reports. This role requires frequent time in the manufacturing plant to monitor inventories and to gain accurate information for internal and external use.
The candidate should have a knowledge of inventory management systems, Excel (creation of formulas for frequent updates). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both oral and written) are also required as is the ability to interact with customers in a diplomatic fashion to resolve concerns as needed. Strong reasoning skills, the ability to analyze issues, collect and interpret data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions is also required.

Position Requirements:
• A minimum of three years of progressive administrative experience in a manufacturing facility in finance, production planning or inventory management is preferred.
• Prior experience in customer facing activities highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work outside traditional business hours when needed
• Ability to resolve customer concerns in ways beneficial to the customer and to AMETEK.
• Strong planning and follow up skills.
