Shipt is growing and we are searching for a communications professional to join us as the Business Communications Associate Manager. This position will offer the right candidate the opportunity to lead communications initiatives supporting our business team and retail partners, while growing their experience in the public affairs arena.  This role reports to the Director of Business Communications and Public Affairs.  A successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, demonstrate retail industry acumen, bring a creative mindset to the table, and be willing to try new things.   

Responsibilities include: 

• Lead communications on local retail launches, including developing strategy, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and conducting media outreach




• Manage ongoing proactive PR efforts with select regional retail partners, developing campaigns and spearheading local media outreach efforts 




• Draft newsletters, press releases, newsroom articles, talking points, and collateral  




• Research and track policy and public affairs issues that impact Shipt across the country 




• Help coordinate PR, marketing, and stakeholder engagement in Shipt’s public affairs campaigns

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience




• 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations  




• Excellent writing and editing skills
