Summary/Objective:

As a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team the primary responsibility of this position is to support various financial, budgeting, reporting and analysis activities of the corporation. This individual will develop a strong, cross-functional partnership with multiple internal customers to track performance and provide guidance on business decisions.

Essential Functions:


  1. Partner with senior management to evaluate and drive business performance through timely and accurate forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and management reporting activities.

  2. Review operating expenses with key stakeholders, develop action plans to achieve targets and communicate results to business partners.

  3. Assist with preparation of monthly/quarterly business review packages (MBR/QBR), guidance forecast presentations, board packets and investor relation materials.

  4. Drive continuous process improvements through automation, cost savings identification and benchmarking of spend against industry/competitors.

  5. Develop next generation management reports and dashboards that provide senior management with concise, accurate and actionable messages.

  6. Lead effort for ad hoc modeling requirements such as the evaluation of ROI and IRR on new product development investments (R&D).

  7. Assist in the preparation and review of GAAP to Non-GAAP financial results.

Required Education and Experience:


  • BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting required

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in positions that require business partnering and financial analysis

  • Functional expertise in SAP, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Essbase, SmartView, PBCS and Hyperion Financial

  • Reporting to support corporate and BU FP&A team activities as needed

  • Demonstrated financial analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis

  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and reporting efficiencies

Required Skills and Abilities:


  • Forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

  • Expert MS Office skills required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI and Power Pivot

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment with flexibility as priorities change

  • Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills

  • Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently and cross functionally to influence others

  • Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)

  • Ability to build and manage financial statements at the divisional and corporate levels

  • Work independently and see the big picture while also partnering cross functionally to influence others

Preferred Education and Experience:


  • MBA, CMA or CPA preferred

Preferred Skills and Abilities:


  • Ability to problem solve with international colleagues in a global organization

  • Experience with integration of M&A reporting activities
