What we do:

Enterprise Asset Management is the process that ensures enterprise wide assets are properly management. This includes mobile devices, endpoint and our enterprise application/server infrastructure. This group will ensure compliance, procurement and data accuracy on these asset types.

The Federal Reserve System Enterprise Asset Management Program has two main objectives:


  • Centrally manage all of the Banks enterprise assets
  • Provide critical information to operational & architectural teams around assets
  • Manage the centralized process and technology index

Your role as Enterprise Asset Management Manager:

We are seeking an Enterprise Asset Management Team Manager Role for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York whom will be responsible for oversees policy, standards, process and strategic priorities for the Bank's IT Assets. The team manages IT assets in three categories: (i) hardware asset Management (HAM), (ii) Mobile Device Management (MDM) and (iii) application portfolio management (APM) & configuration management database (CMDB). This group also works closely with the Governance's IT Vendor Management (ITVM) function which manages the Bank's strategic vendor relationships that support the Bank's technology. You will report directly to the Direction of Vendor & Asset Management.

IT Configuration/Application Portfolio Responsibilities

This role will lead a team that manages the Bank's Systems of Record for Application Portfolio and Configuration Management which are important for the Bank's Cyber Security efforts, change management processes and for application version control and deployment. The Bank maintains two complimentary systems: Application Portfolio Management (APM) and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) that manage both commercially available applications and applications that are internally developed, and the IT Infrastructure related to those applications.

Hardware asset Management (HAM) Portfolio Responsibilities

This role will lead a team that manages the Bank's Systems of Record for Hardware Asset Management. The IT Asset Manager will work with vendors, facilitating and managing local project deliverables as well as day to day activities associated with the delivery of IT and administrative services within EITS. The manager will also be responsible and accountable for procurement, management of hardware deployments and inventories in his/her care.

Mobile Device Management (MDM) Portfolio Responsibilities

This role will lead a team that manages the Bank's Systems of Record for mobile devices and lines. This role is responsible for all aspects of procurement, billing, vendor management and inventory of mobile services for both physical lines and mobile devices. The manager will also be responsible for budget thresholds, audit management and risk management.

Some of the high level management role will include (but not limited to):


  • Maintain current information related to the APM/CMDB, periodically review system information with the business owners and certify annually the accuracy and currency of the information maintained in the system of record.
  • Develop an understanding of the Bank's systems of record for APM and CMDB.
  • Maintain, change and certify the accuracy of the Bank's listing of applications, hardware and other configuration items (Cis) and the relationship of IT hardware items and software or Bank developed application IT items, CIs, and their relationship to one another.
  • Responsible for corelating and maintaining costs to assets including AWS Cloud environment and managed services
  • Maintains records and databases containing information regarding deployed and on stock inventory of all equipment, to include but not limited to make, model, PO numbers, serial number, IT Inventory number, location, device name, (if applicable).
  • Allocates staff on basis of workload, space and available equipment.
  • Participates in budgetary planning, reviews operating costs, performs cost studies and assists with department budgets.
  • Participation with customer facing technical staff to help deliver MDM equipment and services
  • Design and plan MDM procurement and purchase process
  • Provide service guidance / support to internal depts
  • Manage line audits and overage in payments
  • Keep abreast and optimize our spend to various groups
  • Strong financial background (a plus)
  • Understanding of AWS billing (a plus)
What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years combined IT experience in managing enterprise and end point assets
  • A minimum of 3years of experience managing budgets and financial forecasts
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of the organization including managing through cross-business area or business unit prioritization discussions
  • Highly collaborative working style, strong interpersonal capabilities and relationship building; proven ability to manage diverse client and stakeholder relationships, and to collaborate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent influence and negotiation skills; ability to facilitate discussions around complex issues and bring them to resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills with ability to present ideas in a business and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to adapt to continually changing priorities and aggressive project timeframes.
