As a Customer Facing Supply Chain Analyst, you will become an integral part of customer relationship management. You will be responsible for analyzing and understanding the order management life cycle within the supply chain to improve efficiencies. You will tap into your analytical brain to provide supply chain analytics and strategic recommendations to make a lasting impact on your customer's business with a focus on: in stock, operating efficiency, on-time, case fill, cost and waste reduction, and increased performance efforts that create value for both Nestle and the customer. You will be responsible for transportation track and trace, relationship development with internal and external customers including additional support capabilities and managing the customer transportation model for on time delivery.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Conduct daily reporting and CPU (Customer Pick Up) hyper care escalations to customer dedicated Purina CPU Transportation Coordinator. Monitor and manage daily email traffic of TR/Warehouse/Carrier/Customer communication on transportation execution to assist in escalations and actions required between teams.
  • Establish cadence across all CPU sites to ensure carrier/customer is aware of any missing equipment in a timely manner. Connect carrier/plant/customer on communications regarding trailer pool management needs. Monitor CPU pick up of loaded trailers, and loading progress of orders with upcoming pick up appointments for escalations/reschedules required.
  • Run reporting for on time pick up, and on time delivery, to recap performance and share key performance KPIs (Missed appointments, no call no shows) with internal and external stakeholders on a weekly & monthly cadence
  • Assist in daily missed appointment calls to research reason code and tracking for root cause analysis & performance actions required for improvement. Ensure prepaid sites have carrier onboarding process for Chewy delivery and defined carrier strategy. Assist sites with quarterly meetings with strategic carriers regarding Chewy delivery call.
  • Set up standing calls where pre-paid carriers can call in to train new associated handling Chewy freight planning, and provide retraining for any carrier experiencing performance issues (identified by the customer transportation analyst)
  • Develop away for carriers to submit issues or concerns, to track, monitor, and provide feedback to Chewy on actions taken and areas of concern requiring customer action. Develop a process on prepaid appointments to identify potential delays earlier; track loading status at plant locations and verify with carriers they have drivers assigned to the load the day prior to pick up.
  • Ensure alignment between carrier, NPP scheduling, Chewy scheduling, and plant on reschedules and cancellations to reduce administrative root causes for missed delivery appointments


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
  • 2+ years of supply chain, business analyst, replenishment, transportation, order life cycle management or related experience.
  • PowerBi, Tableau, or similar business intelligence experience preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
