Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Clean Shield Sales & Customer Service Technician position is responsible for providing disinfectant services to customers within a service coverage area. This position reports to a Branch General Manager and is bonus eligible.

Essential Functions:

·         Actively work to grow Clean Shield service route to minimum of $10,000 average weekly revenue.

·         Proactively identify, solicit and target prospects using a variety of sales methods, such as, route ride-along, cold calls and marketing to our current customer base.

·         Maintain daily call log and report for weekly activity tracking.

·         Upsell “Direct Sale Items” where applicable to new customers.

·         Turnover leads for additional rental opportunities to Sales Consultants on current and new customers.

·         Follow Clean Shield Standard Operating Procedures

·         Wear company uniform to provide a professional image.

·         Build customer relationships while providing the Clean Shield service. Communicate openly, educate customers, and report current customer issues to the Service Department immediately.

·         Safely operate a vehicle on each trip, following all applicable laws and company policy.

·         Follow written and verbal instructions.

·         Perform other tasks as directed by supervision.

 

Requirements Qualifications:

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to comprehend and follow direction, as well as strong time management skills.

·         Have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety or other violations.

·         Recognize colors, sizes and types of product. Count, add and subtract accurately.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a team environment.

 

Education/Experience:     

·         High school graduate

 

 

 

Compensation:

·         The rate of pay for the Clean Shield Customer Service Technician is $16.00 - $18.00 per hour. Below is the bonus structure when goals are obtained: 

-    2% - weekly bonus when route reaches  $1,000 - $5,000

-    3% - weekly bonus when route reaches  $5,100 - $7,500

-    4% - weekly bonus when route reaches $7,500 - $10,000

-    5% - weekly bonus when route reaches $10,000 and above

-    The Clean Shield representative will receive a 10% commission on all direct sales sold

·         This position also includes an excellent benefit package.

 

Typical Physical Activity:

·         Physical Demands/Requirements consist of standing, sitting, walking, stooping, driving, grasping, moving equipment, pushing, pulling, reading, speaking, hearing, and lifting up to 30 lbs.

 

Typical Environmental Conditions:

·         Vehicles on public roads, inside general offices, customer locations, areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, Service Center or depot.

Travel Requirements:

·         Daily, driving by vehicle within a designated service coverage area. Company vehicle is provided
