If you are a Cost Accounting Manager II professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Boulder, Colorado location, your responsibilities may include accounting duties in General Accounting, Cost Accounting or Financial Analysis, supporting a multi-divisional organization with compliance to US GAAP and corporate financial policies. AS A COST ACCOUNTING MANAGER II, YOU WILL: 


  • Manage and own the costing process of all products
  • Development and implementation of standardized costing procedures at all global sites
  • Lead in the preparation of monthly manufacturing spending variance analysis
  • Manage the annual budgeting process
  • Lead the annual physical inventory process for all North America sites
  • Manage the monthly close for the North America Cost Accounting group
  • Responsible for testing new Oracle modules
  • Support the business with Return on Investment analysis for new capital projects
  • Adapts quickly to changing resource requirements
  • Manage and develop exemt level accounting staff and provide financial leadership to site.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • At least 10 years or equivalent experience, 4 years in management role required
  • Use of and familiarity with Oracle and HFM (Hyperion) accounting and financial reporting systems is required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  

  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred
