Head of DTC eCommerce - North & Latin America

The Role

We are looking for an experienced regional commercial leader and eCommerce expert to help us write a new chapter with our Direct-to-Consumer / B2B eCommerce business.

You will be part of a Global Commercial Team that manages the DTC business end-to-end, across the Americas, EMEA & Asia Pacific. Reporting into the Global Head of eCommerce, you will be responsible for the North and Latin America DTC business, across the portfolio of our brands, with a key focus on the US market.

In this role, you will build and execute the DTC channel strategy & plans as the primary stakeholder responsible for delivering revenue & profit in your region for the cross-category DTC business. You will define Where-To-Play priorities (Countries, Portfolio) in collaboration with the Head of Region and the How-To-Win plans in collaboration with our Global DTC Category Managers and the Regional Category team. You will partner with your counterpart for EMEA & AP to scale & optimize our global operations and planning process.

The development of our DTC business is a global strategic priority. This is a critical role and an exciting opportunity for a senior eCommerce enthusiast to help us accelerate our journey and contribute to the continued transformation of Logitech.

Define the annual DTC strategy & business plan (by region & key markets


  • Develop a strong understanding of the broader channel plans and dynamics for North and Latin America.


  • Set the annual and quarterly revenue, GtN and margin targets (region and markets) and WTP priorities (portfolio, markets). Align category targets with the Global DTC Category Managers.


  • Define the annual eCommerce strategic priorities with a clear articulation of KPIs and targets. Design a 3 year x-category growth plan covering established markets and geographic expansion opportunities and ensure that DTC is fully integrated into the regional channel strategy.


  • Partner with x-functional stakeholders to define the overall direct B2B/Education eCommerce strategy and identify infrastructure and commercial needs to enable & grow the model


  • Lead the quarterly business reviews and annual business planning for your region coordinating inputs from Global DTC category managers and cross functional teams.


  • Review a broad range of eCommerce business and web metrics and provide insights on key trends and opportunities. Leverage benchmarking to identify underdeveloped segments or markets.


Drive the execution of the cross-category business plan to deliver on your strategy & financial targets


  • Represent the DTC business in the NAM & LAT regional sales lead team forum and ensure integration of DTC with channel planning (e.g. inventory & allocation alignment based on category manager plans)


  • Own the DTC account, coordinate category forecasts and demand plans, secure allocation and inventory and minimize OOS. Continuously improve planning accuracy for the business.


  • Master the mix of availability, offer, GtN investment, performance marketing & media and integration with national category marketing. Coordinate x-category plans with the DTC Category managers.


  • Ensure best-in-class launch of new products and provide post-mortem analyses to improve future launches.


  • Collaborate with the media team to define budgets & to ensure that performance media is executed in line with plans. Monitor key KPIs and drive optimization of campaigns regionally. Ensure that locally executed media buying that drives to our .com is in sync with global campaigns.


  • Deliver your quarterly business. Stay on top of key KPIs (traffic, conversion, AOV etc) and your revenue & profit metrics, seize opportunities and build gap fill plans if needed. Work closely with Finance to deliver your GtN and P&L.


Partner with the digital/eCommerce platform team to align development to commercial needs


  • Define the business requirements to enable the continuous improvement to our digital platform and to accelerate Direct-to-Business and Direct-to-Education business


  • Collaborate with the regional and country team to identify the optimal e-commerce commercial operating model and partner with x-functional team to enable geographic expansion


Lead global eCommerce projects as subject matter expert

  • Based on skill & experience, each senior eCommerce leader is appointed as the subject matter expert for a critical topic that (s)he will lead globally. (e.g. Demand planning, performance media, CX etc.)

Key Qualifications:

We are looking for the following qualifications and skills:


  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration or related field


  • 10-15 years of experience in domains relevant to this role (eCommerce, Category- Account- Vendor Management, eCom Merchant), gained in leading Consumer goods and/or eRetail companies.


  • A proven ability to work in remote x-regional teams and matrix organizations. You lead through influencing and build strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders but can assert yourself when needed.


  • Excellent commercial acumen, strong strategic thinking and the drive to get things done. Skilled in managing a complex portfolio, business planning and P&L management.


  • Strong sense of ownership, ability to manage multiple projects while focused on key priorities.


  • A passion to help evolve this role and our eCommerce organization design over time.


  • Performance marketing savvy. You have a good understanding of traffic acquisition and conversion optimization.


  • Experience with Latin America in addition to US and Canada is a strong plus


  • Previous experience with B2B and Education channels is a plus


  • Languages: English. Other languages are a plus.


  • Travel: The role will require occasional travel globally


This role can be located at our headquarters in Newark, San Francisco or remotely in North America.
