Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Alliance Marketing Manager to join the Logitech Video Collaboration Marketing team. In this global role, you will work with Microsoft and internal go-to-market & marketing teams to develop strategic marketing programs. We're looking for someone with experience strategizing, developing, and executing successful joint marketing strategies with premium partners, co-marketing campaigns, and a proven track record of delivering results via partner marketing initiatives.

Work You Will Do

As the Sr. Global Alliance Marketing Manager for Microsoft, you will plan, develop, and execute integrated alliances marketing programs. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading a team and overseeing all aspects of integrated marketing with high-priority partners: overall strategy and planning, budget management, campaign/event strategy, content strategy, brand direction, and sales enablement.

In addition to setting the strategy, you will lead the execution of impactful, results-driven marketing campaigns to create visibility and impact of our Alliance with Microsoft across the industry and throughout the marketplace. You will have the opportunity to oversee all aspects of marketing including core messaging and positioning, branding, marketing plans, content development, sales enablement, event strategy, and influence budgeting. You will build and maintain relationships with internal and external teams to influence the priority and promotion of Logitech + Microsoft solutions.

This position requires experience in leading the marketing strategy and executing programs with strong project and people management skills. Must be comfortable working in a self-directed, matrixed environment and independently executing many marketing deliverables including messaging, global marketing plans, content development, and event communications.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead and Do: Lead marketing efforts directly supporting the Microsoft alliance. Together with your team, you will create and support the marketing strategy for Microsoft in partnership with the Global Alliance Go-to-Market lead for Microsoft, to reach marketing goals aligned to the business objectives of the Collaboration Business Group.


  • Leverage a deep understanding of our current and future product portfolio to identify ongoing and new opportunities to work with Microsoft in uniquely differentiated ways.


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, the alliance go-to-market team, and internal marketing stakeholders to help further the relationship and joint marketing opportunities.


  • Manage 1-2 direct reports and cultivate their growth and marketing skills.


  • Manage Microsoft's positioning and marketing plans for global product launches.


  • Co-create plans for Microsoft to support new Collaboration product introductions and joint product introductions.


  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with our Global Video Collaboration Commercial (GVCC) team/regional marketing, video collaboration and other business group marketing teams, and marketing communications stakeholders to ensure successful execution of marketing plans.


  • Establish and execute an annual content plan that includes messaging, positioning, content mix & localization requirements (research, creative, thought leadership, competitive, videos, sales enablement, etc.).


  • Work with internal teams to develop a web strategy for both Logitech.com and relevant Microsoft web properties.


  • Manage Microsoft's Joint Marketing Agreement (co-funding) program including planning, execution, proof of concept submission, and finance.


  • Create and establish Global Alliance campaign frameworks, guidance, priorities and align with internal marketing stakeholders on priority and execution plans, including measurement and ROI.


  • Lead Logitech's participation in Microsoft's Global Industry Events (e.g. Microsoft Ignite) and work with internal teams to identify regional partner events & provide content as needed.


  • Own and manage Global Alliance finance and budget process for Microsoft marketing activities.


Your Experience


  • Proven track record of success in a partner marketing role within video conferencing, computer hardware, or collaboration/productivity software.


  • Demonstrable experience and expertise working with organizations such as Microsoft, Zoom, Google, or other similar Global B2B software companies.


  • Familiarity with and appreciation for Microsoft Teams and the role it plays in the modern workplace.


  • 10+ years of enterprise marketing experience including partner marketing.


  • Success in managing people, agencies, and managing work through team members that report to other parts of the organization.


  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), reporting, and presentation skills.


  • Experience with Adobe, Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau or other relevant B2B marketing technologies nice to have.


  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment to drive outcome-based plans, programs, and execution.


  • Understanding of a broad range of marketing activities, disciplines, and tactics, including content marketing, digital marketing, and industry events.


  • Demonstrated pipeline impact of partnerships and programs.


  • Highly motivated, self-starter that can lead, build, and launch programs and communications within budget and effectively manage multiple timelines.


  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and experience with G-Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs, Gmail).


  • Currently travel is restricted due to COVID but once travel resumes, an ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar, or equivalent relevant work experience. MBA preferred
