Senior Logistics Analyst

Overview

FTI is looking for an Advisory Logistics Specialist with a DoD background to support our customer, Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) in Lakehurst, NJ performing Product Support Management in the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) department. The candidate will be supporting the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) programs. NAWCADLKE is located near the New Jersey beaches and is near Philadelphia, PA, Atlantic City, NJ, and New York, NY and is the premiere ALRE and Aircraft Support Equipment (SE) research, development, test and evaluation, and sustainment installation for the US Navy.

Responsibilities

* Represent NAVAIR in collaborative environments with external organizations such as NAVSUP and DLA

* Assist EMALS and AAG Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program planning, development, and execution
* Assist in planning and implementing Integrated Logistics Support for the life cycle of assigned system/equipment from concept through field deployment
* Perform depot level task analysis to identify resulting depot level logistics support requirements and products
* Support development of Engineering Change Proposals and Configuration Management processes

* Review and verify/validate Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) for ALRE including MTA resources (Support Equipment (SE), Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), Spare Parts etc.)
* Perform Logistics Support Analysis for Design Change Notices and identify impacts to Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) and other logistics support products
* Perform configuration changes GAP Analysis for ALRE Systems installed on U.S. Navy ships
* Develop/review Diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS) Bill of Materials (BOM) and support DMSMS processes including DMSMS Management Team (DMT) meetings
* Prepare written correspondence and verbally report on assigned programs
* Analyze ILS program execution and/or assigned programs' management/sustainment posture to identify deficiencies in established Integrated Logistics Support systems
* Provide logistical and administrative support to the government customer
* Candidate may be responsible for creating and maintaining spreadsheets, tracking work orders, doing purchase requests, and more
* Provide technical expertise in all areas of supply support; including inventory management, inventory accuracy and warehousing
* Working knowledge of Logistics Product Database (LPD) is desired
* Ability to compose Statement of Work documentation

Education/Qualifications

* 10+ years Logistics experience
* Department of Defense experience preferred

* Must have knowledge of and experience with logistics databases and product configuration management
* Understanding of DoD Logistics and Acquisition within the United States Navy, preferred
* Understanding of NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review process, preferred
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Ability to meet scheduled deadlines
* Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance or higher

* A Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution is preferred
