The Director, Post Sales Engineering reports to the Senior Director, Post Sales Engineering and is responsible for defining, building, and leading the Post Sales Engineering team in alignment with the regional and industry direction. The Director, Post Sales Engineering must be highly organized, detail oriented, dedicated to the creation of quality services and appreciate the need for continuous process improvement by challenging the status quo.

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain alignment with Pre -Sales and Sales leadership for the region
Coordinate with Area Practice Directors and National Strategy team to ensure all post sales resources are getting properly trained and are aligned to assigned practices
Responsible for resource management, performance management, hiring, and mentorship
Ensure the region is constructed in a model that supports the local needs while mapping to the area and national initiatives
Ensure all teams are continuously evolving to address our customers' needs, ePlus' needs and industry trends
Foster teamwork, collaboration and accountability both within the team and throughout the area
Coordinates with Sales, Pre Sales and Managed Services organizations as necessary to ensure a superior customer experience is delivered
Participate in efforts to streamline process and encourage continuous improvement
Participate in regional portfolio management with Sales and Pre Sales
Coordinate applicable manufacturer training in team environments as well as individual plans throughout the region (in alignment with regional portfolio)
Build and/or maintain reporting on teams to measure efficiency, effectiveness and profitability
Ensure the team understands ePlus core values and mission
Assist with activities such as events, campaigns, and speaking engagements where appropriate
Maintain and recruit 3rd party partnerships needed for delivery
Manage and oversee project success with customer satisfaction being the priority
Drive process improvement, cultural alignment and leverage technology to improve experience for employees and customers
Manage regional P&L performance, forecasting, and budget
Follow ePlus' performance review process to promote communication, provide useful feedback about job performance and contribute to an employee's professional development

Job Knowledge/Skills:
Broad exposure to a variety of technologies/concepts and management experience in a distributed environment
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, as well as presentation, customer, business, and negotiation skills

Proven ability to manage the financial elements that make up the Region
Comprehensive experience in the strategy, process and methodology for business enablement and transformation through technology
Education and Experience:
Experience in managing and enhancing a world-class field services organization, as well as growing a Professional Services Consulting practice
Experience in operations and project management
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a field-based services management position with a minimum of 10 direct staff is required
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a technical or business discipline is preferred
Physical Requirements of Position:
Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and / or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time. May have to exert or lift up to 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally.
